By SUE SUCHYTA Times-Herald Newspapers HEIGHTS — Following a late-night report Sept. 23 of reckless driving in the parking lot of Polk Elementary School, police officers discovered an abandoned older model red Jeep Cherokee lying on its roof in the field east of the school. Nearby residents said they saw two or three young men running from the field and leaving in a newer model white Ford Escape. The vehicle was uninsured, the woman did not have a valid driver’s license, and she had outstanding arrest warrants.
