HEIGHTS — Two men who were drag racing on northbound Outer Drive north of Ford Road the afternoon of Sept. 21 were taken into custody, with their vehicles impounded and towed.
The vehicles, both black Jeep Grand Cherokees, were racing side by side at a high rate of speed.
A traffic stop was conducted for both vehicles. One driver had a suspended driver’s license, and was cited for drag racing and driving without a valid license.
The other was cited and taken to the police station, where he was later released.
