DEARBORN — A food delivery driver who was arrested for reckless driving Oct. 21 when he was speeding through a residential neighborhood and ran a stop sign had his vehicle impounded and towed, with the arresting officers subsequently delivering the food order.

The driver admitted that he was driving too fast, said he wasn’t pressured by anyone to speed and that the decision was a result of his own poor choices.

After his vehicle was impounded, he was transported to a nearby location for pickup by his mother.
