DEARBORN — Henry Ford Community College will hold tryouts in August and September for the college’s athletic teams for the 2012-13. The teams holding tryouts are baseball, women’s softball, men’s and women’s basketball, and golf. To try out for the baseball team, there is a mandatory meeting for student athletes from 3:30 to 5 p.m. Aug. 28 in the Berry Auditorium, located in the Andrew A. Pre-district baseball action is now completed. This past weekend, more than likely will see either Edsel Ford or Allen Park, win the Dearborn High School district championship. Both teams, Edsel and Allen Park faced each other on Saturday, with the victor playing the winner of the Fordson vs. Lincoln Park game.
