HEIGHTS — A man reported Sept. 4 that his red 2025 Ford F-150 was stolen from his residence on Rosemary Road, along with $2,500 in cash in a blue Chase Bank bag, trading cards valued at $10,000, a pair of $1,000 black Louis Vuitton sunglasses, and a pair of $250 Apple AirPods.
Two weeks later the vehicle was recovered undamaged in Inkster, along with several other stolen vehicles.
Surveillance camera footage from the victim’s neighborhood showed two Black males who have been suspects in other crimes, but who remain at large.
The Apple air pods were initially tracked to Ypsilanti, but Washtenaw County law enforcement personnel were not able to track the vehicle before the signal stopped sending location information.
