MELVINDALE – Children enjoyed decorating pumpkins Oct. 24 at the Melvindale Public Library, with their creativity enhanced through paint and bright materials to add faces and other imaginative features.
Library Director Jeannine Warrow said Blocks Stand and Greenhouse in Romulus donated 35 pumpkins to the activity.
She said a seasonal pumpkin decorating day is a long-standing tradition at the library.
At 1 p.m. Nov. 14, the library will sponsor book character Bingo, followed by a 1 p.m. Nov. 21 fall suncatcher craft.
