SOUTHGATE — A woman reported Oct. 14 that an unknown person had hacked into her DTE account, changed the email address and password, and run up an $800 bill.
DTE was able to help her access her account to change back the email address and password, but she was still working with them to cancel the unauthorized charges for a Sterling Heights address.
