DEARBORN – The police department hosted a Trunk or Treat event Oct. 20, granting attendees access to police cars, fire trucks and other emergency vehicles along with a generous supply of candy.
Bouncy houses and facepainting added to the fun, along with games and giveaways.
Among the participating groups were ACCESS, the Dearborn Public Schools, the Dearborn Public Health Department, the Wayne County Department of Homeland Security Emergency Management, with its mobile command post, the Dearborn Exchange Club, the Dearborn Department of Public Services, the Dearborn fire department, Dearborn Parks and Recreation, and the police interns, who proved to be masterful face-painters.
