LINCOLN PARK — A woman reported the afternoon of Aug. 1 that her vehicle, a 2017 Chevy Equinox, was vandalized in the parking lot of a store in the 3700 block of Dix Avenue.

Store surveillance camera footage shows a man who was the driver of an adjacent black Chevrolet Silverado, who had an opportunity to key the car.

A store employee said if police officials obtain a subpoena, they could release surveillance camera footage showing the man’s vehicle’s license plate and whether the driver of the pickup actually vandalized the nearby vehicle.

The victim of the vandalism was given a police report number to file a claim with her insurance company.
