TAYLOR — A man was arrested Sept. 18 after he was found to be in possession of a blue 2008 Pontiac G5 that was reported stolen out of the city of Detroit.

The vehicle’s license plate was spotted by a Flock camera in the city of Taylor, and a traffic stop initiated in the Meijer parking lot.

The man said the vehicle belonged to a relative, and he had driven off in the car following a verbal argument the day before, so he could remove himself from the situation.

The Detroit Police Department verified that the vehicle had indeed been reported as stolen.

The man was taken into custody, and the vehicle was impounded and towed.
