WYANDOTTE — A man wearing a Michael Myers mask and costume while dragging a body bag the night of Oct. 8 at two businesses near Maple and Second streets was arrested for obstructing police officers and was banned from the businesses.

The man, a 55-year-old Taylor resident, was staring at patrons and staff, and making them uncomfortable and scared.

He later told police officers that he was recording footage for a social media video. The man, who refused to identify himself, became argumentative. He was then taken into custody.

Routine traffic stop results in drug and weapon arrest

A 40-year-old Lincoln Park woman was arrested the night of Oct. 6 for illegal drug possession and a concealed weapon following a routine traffic stop near Goddard Road and Fort Street for illegal window tint.

The driver denied having anything illegal in the vehicle, but exhibited behavior that indicated otherwise.

She was subsequently found to be in possession of Fentanyl and a loaded handgun for which she did not have a concealed weapon permit, and was taken into custody.
