WYANDOTTE — A man pushing a shopping cart down the center of Biddle Avenue near the police station shouted at a passing police officer, who stopped to see if the man was OK.
The man, who was highly intoxicated and having trouble speaking and standing upright, asked if the officer was going to take him to jail.
He was taken into custody, and was found to have a significant amount of alcohol in his possession: four Natty Daddy Tall Boy malt liquors, three shots of Jose Cuervo tequila, and two bottles of Quality House bourbon whiskey.
He also had drug paraphernalia in his possession.
