DEARBORN — A man speeding on westbound Michigan Avenue near Ternes Street was cited for reckless driving after he ran a red light in a black 2018 BMW M550 high performance luxury sedan.
A traffic stop was conducted, and the license plate was found to be expired. The driver said he did not speak English well, so an Arabic translator was obtained immediately by phone to explain the reason for the traffic stop, while another translator was summoned to the location.
The vehicle was impounded and towed, and the man was cited and released at the scene.
