ALLEN PARK — A woman who may have been planning a barbecue stole more than $88 worth of merchandise from Aldi Supermarket, 23035 Outer Drive.
Among the items taken were 96 pieces of chicken, a cast iron grill, utility foil pans, an outdoor candle, Pepsi and a globe fan.
The woman, who left in a tan four-door car, was Black and wearing a dark scarf, red shorts and a black hoodie.
The license plate on her car was registered to a Ford van and not the car in which she drove off. However, the woman’s image was captured on store surveillance camera footage.
