TAYLOR — A woman reported at 2:06 a.m. May 18 that five people were outside her residence banging on the door.

She described an assault by two women at another location, during which she said she was unable to physically defend herself.

After she left that location, the aggressors allegedly followed her to her residence and tried to get her to come outside to confront them, which she did not do. They left prior to police officers arriving.

The woman had visible injuries to her face, including scratches and bruising. She declined to press charges against her attackers.

Police officers went to the residence where the woman said she was assaulted, in an attempt to make contact with the two women, but no one answered the door.
