TAYLOR — A woman reported April 8 that she had been providing money to an online contact for the past two years for “work equipment,” and now believes she is a victim of fraud.

She said the man, whom she has not met in person, received approximately $1,000 from her via Cash App. She said she does not have a record of the dates and amounts sent. She said the recipient, whom she believes lives in Germany, recently changed their name on Tik Tok, which made her suspicious of his motives.
