MELVINDALE — Melvindale Pharmacy, 18287 Allen Road, was subject to a break-in at 4:33 a.m. May 17, to which police officers responded.
The rear door of the store had been forced open, and after clearing the building the responding officers began investigating the scene, finding empty pill bottles scattered throughout.
The owner arrived on scene and shared surveillance camera footage, which showed three Black males wearing ski masks and gloves entering the building and removing filled prescriptions waiting for customer pick-up from shelves. The suspects may have left in a dark-colored Dodge Durango.
