TAYLOR — A Taylor woman reported May 18 that her daughter’s father, her ex-boyfriend, arrived at her residence by Uber to spend time with the girl, then later left with the child using her car without permission.
The man dropped off the daughter with her later, but left again with the woman’s car, again without permission.
The vehicle was entered into the Law Enforcement Information Network as stolen out of Taylor and later recovered in Dearborn, where the man was arrested.
The vehicle was then impounded and towed, and the LEIN listing was lifted.
