MELVINDALE — A woman who accidentally drove her vehicle into a dug-out section of roadway where construction was occurring April 12 was pushed out by a good Samaritan.

The woman, who was driving a Ford Focus, said she was driving on Oakwood to turn onto Allen Road when she drove into a recessed section of roadway that was undergoing repair work.

Police officers who arrived on the scene conducted a preliminary breath test, which revealed that the woman did not have any alcohol in her system.
