TAYLOR — A man with a history of narcotic possession and multiple active warrants, as well as being a parole absconder out of Lansing, was taken into custody the evening of April 8 while in possession of crack cocaine.
The man, who was spotted near I-75 and Eureka Road, was approached on foot, at which time he swallowed a small baggie with a white substance inside it, which he later identified as heroin and methamphetamine. He was also carrying a syringe in his pants pocket.
The man was taken to a local hospital, and was cited for possession of drugs and paraphernalia.
