ALLEN PARK — A man was arrested at Target, 3100 Fairlane Drive, after he failed to scan all of the items in his cart at the self-checkout lane.

The items stolen and recovered, which were collectively valued at $81, were a Detroit Tigers T-shirt, boxer briefs, tank tops and a pillow.

The man did have a receipt for the items for which he did scan and render payment.

He was arrested for retail fraud, and his gray 2016 Chrysler Town and Country minivan was impounded and towed. Surveillance camera footage was available of the theft.
