TRENTON — A man reported Feb. 3 that his Crypto.com account had been fraudulently accessed on Feb. 1 and $4,164 was converted to gift cards.
He said he filed a criminal incident report with Crypto.com, as well as an FBI complaint and Federal Trade Commission identity theft report, and provided copies, along with screenshots of the unauthorized transfers.
He said he needed a police report for Crypto.com, and said he was advised to monitor his accounts for further fraudulent activity.
