RIVERVIEW — A 40-year-old Dearborn man who ran a red light at 2:46 a.m. Feb. 3 at Trenton Road near the intersection of Fort Street and Pennsylvania Road, almost hitting a police vehicle, said he thought the green light for southbound Fort Street was for southbound Trenton Road.

A traffic stop was initiated, and the man provided his vehicle registration and proof of insurance, but he did not have a valid driver’s license.

His vehicle was impounded and towed, and he was giving a courtesy ride home.
