SOUTHGATE — A 2002 Ford Econoline Wagon that needed new brakes was reported stolen Jan. 17 from an apartment building parking lot in the 13000 block of Strathcona Street.

The complainant said the vehicle had been parked for a few months awaiting new brakes. He confirmed that the apartment management personnel had not towed the van, and said it was paid off. It was stolen without the ignition keys.

The van was entered into the Law Enforcement Information Network as stolen.
