TAYLOR — A traffic stop initiated at 2 a.m. Jan. 12 for illegal front window tint on the front driver window resulted in an arrest for possession of cocaine.

The driver had active misdemeanor arrest warrants from Taylor and Dearborn Heights. In addition, his vehicle registration was expired.

The driver admitted to having cocaine in the vehicle, which a search uncovered.

His vehicle was impounded and towed, and the man was transported to the Taylor police station, where additional cocaine was discovered in the man’s pants pocket.
