RIVERVIEW — A purse and its contents were reported stolen from a vehicle the morning of Dec. 18 while a woman was taking her child inside to a daycare facility.
Stolen were a Michael Kors purse and wallet with a credit and debit card, work and home keys, jewelry, a work shirt and her driver’s license.
Surveillance camera footage showed a dark-colored Jeep Compass or Cherokee pull up alongside the victim’s vehicle, with a person getting out, opening the victim’s passenger side door and removing the purse. The footage did not capture a license plate number, and nearby Flock cameras did not detect a possible suspect vehicle matching the description.
