DEARBORN — A Detroit man was cited for first degree retail fraud and theft the afternoon of Jan. 17 after he put price stickers for $6 leggings on significantly more expensive clothing to decrease the cost of checkout at Walmart, 5851 Mercury Drive.
The actual value of the clothing was $157.43 for assorted pants and shoes. The man had previous convictions for retail fraud. His price tag switching actions were captured on surveillance camera footage.
