TAYLOR — An online argument may have triggered a juvenile and another suspect to fire shots at a residence on Pond Village Drive at 12:05 a.m. Nov. 27, Thanksgiving Day.

Responding police officers discovered multiple bullet holes in the residence and shell casings outside.

Three to four people were asleep inside the apartment at the time of the attack.

One female was hit and bruised by a round that first passed through the walls of the dwelling and did not have enough forward momentum remaining to enter her body.

A suspect, a minor living in Taylor, was taken into custody that afternoon, but was released pending definitive analysis of the evidence that was seized with a search warrant.

Police officials say it was an isolated incident and there is no risk to the general public.
