SOUTHGATE — Numerous books, including two with pages ripped out and scattered, were found on the ground the morning of Nov. 5 at McCann Park, west of McCann Avenue and south of Eureka Road.
There was no nearby Little Free Library structure, so the responding police officer placed the books inside the park’s play structure.
