DEARBORN — A 46-year-old Dearborn man attempted to purchase seven 12-packs of Red Bull energy drinks by self-scanning the bar codes for seven 4-packs, a retail difference of $14 per pack, on Nov. 4 at Walmart, 5851 Mercury Drive.
The man tried to leave the loss control office despite the arrival of police officers, and was handcuffed during questioning.
He was cited for larceny and told to contact 19th District Court in Dearborn for an appearance date.
