RIVERVIEW — A 46-year-old Riverview man who was subject to a traffic stop for an expired license plate was found to be driving with a revoked license in a vehicle that was unregistered and uninsured.

The traffic stop occurred Sept. 29 on Sibley Road near Shenandoah Drive. The man said he had purchased the vehicle a few weeks ago and had not yet registered it or acquired insurance.

The vehicle was impounded and towed, and the man was cited for driving while his license was revoked and driving an unregistered and uninsured vehicle. He was given a courtesy ride to his residence.
