WYANDOTTE — A 53-year-old Wyandotte man fled from a traffic stop for a defective taillight at 2:59 a.m. Oct. 12 and pulled into a residential driveway in the 1400 block of 12th Street.

The driver ran into the house and locked the door, then went to an upstairs window and began shouting at the pursuing police officer. The belligerent man appeared to be intoxicated.

The man’s vehicle was subsequently impounded and towed, and he was issued a citation for resisting and obstructing.
