LINCOLN PARK — A yellow and blue 2002 Chevy Silverado 2500 tow truck was reported stolen the morning of July 30 from Abbott Avenue north of Capitol Avenue.

An employee had taken the tow truck home overnight, as was customary. The truck was unlocked, but the keys were not in the vehicle.

The business name was reportedly painted on both sides of the vehicle.

There were no hits on the license plate by nearby traffic cams during the time frame of the theft.

The vehicle was entered into the Law Enforcement Information Network as stolen.
