WYANDOTTE — A 37-year-old Brownstown Township man and a 22-year-old Sumpter Township man were charged with possession of crystal methamphetamine the night of Aug. 27 following a traffic stop and Fort and Walnut streets for a defective light.
The men were exhibiting suspicious behavior following the traffic stop, so a K-9 unit was called to the scene. The K-9 provided a positive indication for the presence of illegal narcotics, and a subsequent search revealed a bag of the illegal drugs and a pipe used to smoke the substance.
