DEARBORN — A Dearborn man’s 2021 Cadillac CT5 was impounded and towed the night of Aug. 5 after a police officer saw him speeding and making rapid and reckless lane changes on westbound Michigan Avenue west of Mercury Drive.

The man was driving about 75 mph in a 45-mph zone, and came dangerously close to striking a motorcycle and another vehicle while rapidly changing lanes.

The man was cited for reckless driving and for violating the terms of his restricted driver’s license. A friend arrived to pick up the driver and passenger after their vehicle was impounded and towed.
