SOUTHGATE — A woman living in the 11000 block of Willow Street called police dispatch at 3:10 a.m. Aug. 2 when she arrived home and found the front door to her residence open, with just the screen door closed.

Police officers went through the residence and found no one inside. The woman then walked through with the officers and found nothing missing.

There were no signs of forced entry, and no suspicious footage on her Ring doorbell cam. Her mother had been at the house earlier that day, but said she was sure she had closed the front door when she left.
