TRENTON — A woman reported June 14 that she received an email purportedly from Norton Anti-Virus on June 5 requesting a $150 wire transfer to Apollo Finance Technology to continue her software protection.

On June 7, she said she mistakenly sent a wire transfer for $15,000 to the company.

The company said a refund check was mailed to her and received on June 13, but the woman said she never received the check.

She said her credit union is aware of the situation.
