WYANDOTTE — A 29-year-old Wyandotte man was subject to a traffic stop at 2:48 a.m. July 21 in the 100 block of Riverbank Street after he was seen driving through a residential neighborhood at a high rate of speed.

The man was argumentative, and handed the police officer a credit card instead of his driver’s license. His behavior was suspicious, and he told the police officer that he could not search his car, even though he had not been asked for permission to do so.

A K9 officer was called to the scene, and signaled a positive presence of narcotics. A search then revealed a baggie of crack cocaine. Then man was then arrested and taken into custody.
