ALLEN PARK — A man stole $486 worth of merchandise from Lowe’s Home Improvement store, 23111 Outer Drive, on May 30 by pretending to try to return merchandise for which he had no receipt, which he had actually filled up his cart with inside the store.
When his refund was denied, he walked out of the store with the items without rendering payment.
Stolen were a $99 trimmer, a $99 misting fan kit, a $199 multi-head drill and driver, and an $89 jig saw.
The man was seen driving off in a yellow Chevy Cavalier.
