RIVERVIEW — The principal of Forest Elementary School, 19400 Hampton Road, reported May 27 that one soccer goal net was stolen and another was mangled by a vehicle.

The soccer goal nets had a $2,892 collective value.

Surveillance camera footage at 2:08 a.m. May 27 showed a dark-colored sport utility vehicle being driven onto the soccer field behind the school. The vehicle was driven into one of the nets, which became stuck on the front of the vehicle. The driver continued to joy-ride around the field without the vehicle headlights on, which made it impossible to identify the driver or the license plate.

The mangled net was left on the field, and another net was missing. There were no suspects.
