DEARBORN — A Dearborn woman who was driving 90 mph west on Warren Avenue near Wyoming Avenue, tailgating and changing lanes without signaling the night of June 1 was cited for reckless driving.

When asked why she was speeding, the woman told three different stories: first, that she was angry and her leg was shaking; secondly, that her father was not well and she was rushing to see him; and thirdly, that her vehicle was malfunctioning.

The woman had a prior history of unsafe driving. Her gray 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee impounded and towed. She was advised of court procedure and released at the scene.
