SOUTHGATE — Two bottles of Crown Royal Apple Whiskey, valued at $57 each, and two bottles of Jameson Irish Whiskey, valued at $55 each, were stolen the afternoon of May 13 from Sam’s Club, 15700 Northline Road.
The thief took advantage of an emergency in the café near the front of the store to conceal the liquor bottles in his backpack and then leave the store without rendering payment.
The man was white, and wearing a sweatshirt and blue jeans. He left on foot, running up a hill toward a nearby neighborhood.
Loss prevention personnel provide police officers with surveillance footage of the shoplifting.
