LINCOLN PARK — A woman reported April 18 that an unknown person had fraudulently emptied her electronic benefit Bridge card by using it for three unauthorized transactions in a San Antonio, Texas, store.

The victim said the Bridge card had been loaded April 17, and when she attempted to use it April 18, it was denied for insufficient funds.

She said she contacted the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services to advise them of the fraudulent activity and to cancel the account.
