WYANDOTTE — The reckless driver of a Mercedes Benz tried to avoid a traffic stop by fleeing from police officers the night of April 8, speeding through Wyandotte and Lincoln Park.
After obtaining the license plate and a description of the driver, police officers terminated the physical pursuit while using technology to continue to track the vehicle, which was later found abandoned in Detroit, where it was impounded.
