RIVERVIEW — A man living in the 18000 block of Parkridge Court reported March 16 that shortly after midnight, he heard noise outside his residence, which he later learned was the sound of his wallet being stolen out of his unlocked vehicle.

At 3 a.m., the man received an alert that his credit card was being used at a Kroger and a Speedway in Taylor.

The items stolen along with the man’s wallet were an American Express card, a Discover card, a Chase Bank debit card and his children’s saving account information.

The man said he canceled his credit and debit cards and notified his financial institution about the account information breach.

He said neighboring surveillance cameras may have captured footage of the theft.
