HEIGHTS — A woman reported Feb. 7 that she received a notice from a collection agency trying to collect a $2,000 debt for rental equipment contracted through Home Depot, 25451 Michigan Ave.

The rental, which occurred June 28, 2024, was made using her name, address and cell phone number. She provided a copy of the invoice she received from Home Depot personnel.

The victim said the Visa card number used for the rental was not her account.

She was advised to monitor her credit cards and bank accounts.
