SOUTHGATE — A dryer fire that occurred the night of Feb. 11 filled an apartment building on Goddard Road with smoke.
The second-floor resident said lint in the dryer caused the fire, which he extinguished with water prior to the arrival of first responders. There was visible burn damage on the dryer.
