ALLEN PARK —A man driving a red 2020 Chevy Silverado on eastbound Southfield Road near Roosevelt Boulevard the morning of Jan. 23 was sideswiped by the driver of a blue pickup, who lost control of his vehicle on the snow-covered, icy road, striking the passenger side of the victim’s vehicle before fleeing the scene.

The victim’s vehicle was pushed into the railroad viaduct, damaging the driver’s side door of his Silverado.

The victim complained of pain to his right shoulder, but refused medical transport. His vehicle was towed, and he was given a courtesy ride to his job in Lincoln Park.
