TAYLOR — A 37-year-old Dearborn Heights man who was pounding on a room door Jan. 13 at the Ambassador Motel, 11811 Telegraph Road, claiming that a man inside the room had stolen his marijuana, was cited for possession of methamphetamine and taken to a local hospital for a possible impending overdose.
The man, who had outstanding felony and misdemeanor warrants, had powdered and crystal meth in his possession. He said he had swallowed three bags of heroin before the police officers made contact with him.
The man was then transferred to a local hospital for evaluation, and was cited for the drug possession.
