DEARBORN — A wallet with credit cards, a driver’s license, a work identification badge and a backpack with miscellaneous items were reported stolen overnight from a locked car in the 3600 block of Heritage Parkway.
The victim said he received text alerts about fraudulent credit card transactions, including a $52 DoorDash order, two $50 Walmart purchases, and a possible cannabis purchase.
There was no damage to the man’s vehicle. He was advised to cancel his stolen credit cards, and was given a police report number to initiate an investigation by his credit card provider.
